From the Pastor's Desk - May 17, 2015

Dear Parishioners,
We congratulate all from our parish who are graduating from college and high school this spring. Let us keep our graduates in our prayers that as they mark this milestone in their lives that Our Lord will guide them with His Holy Spirit into the future to know his loving companionship and to do His will for their lives.
On this coming Wednesday, May 20, I and Ted Boro, our Parish Council president, Ken Patry, our Finance Council chairperson, Kathy Kreifels, one of our parish trustees, and Sherry Huntwork, our Director of Religious Education, will be attending the first meeting that the Archdiocese is conducting concerning pastoral planning in suburban Omaha parishes. The Archbishop is having the Meitler Group from Milwaukee, who conducted the study on Catholic education and schools in the inner city parishes of Omaha, work with suburban parishes to do pastoral planning in light of projected pastoral needs in the next few decades. At this first meeting, we will learn something about what this process will entail for each parish. As I know more about what we will need to do for this study, I will pass this on to you. Please pray for the success of this endeavor.
Have a wonderful and grace-filled week.
God bless you,
Fr. Gutowski
