From the Pastor's Desk - December 14, 2014

Dear Parishioners,
As Christmas approaches, with a week and a half of Advent remaining, I encouraged everyone to receive the sacrament of Reconciliation, if you have not already done so. This coming Thursday evening, December 18, at 7:00 PM, we will have our Advent Penance Service at which there will be another priest besides myself available for hearing confessions. Also, starting on Saturday, December 20 and on the days before Christmas, I will be offering an extended schedule of confessions, so that there is ample opportunity for receiving the sacrament of Reconciliation in preparation for the celebration of Our Lord’s birth. Please see the bulletin for these times.  Of course, you may go to another parish, if you so choose, for confession. Jesus was born to take away our sins, so let us allow him to give us this greatest gift to us during Advent.  In this week’s bulletin, there is an insert with an examination of conscience to aid you in making your confession.
Have a blessed and grace-filled week.
God bless you,  Fr. Gutowski
