From the Pastor's Desk - January 5, 2014

Dear Parishioners,
Our Deacon, Dave Christensen, will be having knee-replacement surgery this coming week. Therefore, let us keep him in our prayers for successful surgery and a quick recovery. Please keep his wife Linda in prayer, too, that Dave will be a good patient for her as she takes care of him after the surgery. We will miss his diaconal ministry at the altar during the time of his recuperation, which will be several weeks.
Please continue to keep in your prayers, also, the success of the building project of the new religious education center. Work on the new building is progressing nicely. Since the workers were able to get the walls and roof up during December, they now are able to focus on the inside work that needs to be done. Things right now appear to be mostly on schedule, so, optimistically, the building could be completed by sometime in March or April. I express my thanks to all who continue to give generously to our building fund to make possible this wonderful facility that will benefit our children and youth in receiving their religious formation in a conducive environment as well as serve as much needed space for other purposes of our parish as well.
Have a wonderful and grace-filled week.

God bless you,
 Fr. Gutowski
